The Rules of Our Journey

Welcome to Naevor! By using our app, you agree to these terms. To keep our space safe and positive, here are the key points in plain English:

  • You own your content. Journal entries, photos, and moods are stored on your device.
  • App stores handle payments. Naevor Plus billing and renewals are managed by Apple/Google.
  • Be kind and respectful. Use Naevor for personal growth and follow applicable laws.

Subscription & Billing (Naevor Plus)

  • Subscriptions are billed via the App Store/Google Play and auto‑renew unless canceled.
  • Cancel anytime in your store account settings. Refunds follow store policies and law.
  • Features may change or vary by platform; trials will specify duration and conversion terms.

Acceptable Use

Please don’t misuse, disrupt, or reverse‑engineer the app or its services. Keep this a safe, supportive space.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data with a Privacy‑First approach.

Service Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. When appropriate, we will provide notice in‑app or via release notes.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission and they must agree to these terms on your behalf. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Sharing Your Naevor Journey

We love seeing you share your journey and we strongly encourage it! You are welcome to share screenshots, screen recordings (like hatching moments), and exported keepsake cards from Naevor on your social media platforms, with friends, or on your personal blog.

All we ask is that this sharing is for personal, non-commercial purposes. Your unique journey is meant to be shared, and it helps our small team grow!

Our Brand & Intellectual Property

While your personal creations are yours to share, the Naevor name, logo, artwork, virtual companion characters, and the app's software are our exclusive intellectual property, protected by law.

This means they may not be used for any commercial purposes—such as selling merchandise with our characters on it or creating another app based on our technology—without our explicit written permission.

Important Disclaimers

  • Naevor is a tool for wellness and self-reflection, not a substitute for professional medical or therapeutic advice. If you are struggling with your mental health, please seek professional help.
  • Provided “as is” without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Naevor and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes will be handled in the courts of Singapore.

Dispute Resolution

We believe most issues can be solved with a kind conversation. If we can’t resolve matters informally, the dispute will be governed by the laws of Singapore and handled through binding arbitration or in small claims court, not as a class action.
