Naevor is designed with a Privacy‑First approach. We make a clear distinction between your personal journal and the minimal data needed to provide our service.

• Your journal is 100% private. Your entries, photos, and feelings are stored only on your device. We cannot see them.
• Anonymous by design. We store a randomly generated User ID and your subscription status only so Naevor Plus access can be restored across devices.
• You are in control. Backups or exports (e.g., to iCloud/Files) are optional and initiated by you.

In Short (The TL;DR)

• We cannot read your journal entries. Ever.
• We do not sell your data or use it for ads.
• You always have full control to export or delete your data.

Information We Collect

We do not collect your name, email, or journal content. We only collect:

• Anonymous User ID (a random string of characters that cannot be linked to your real identity)
• Subscription status (e.g., Free or Naevor Plus)

How We Use Information

The anonymous User ID is used only to verify and restore Naevor Plus. We do not build profiles, sell data, or serve targeted ads.

Your Data Stays On Your Device

Your journal content (entries, photos, moods) lives on your device. Local notifications (reminders/quotes) are scheduled on‑device. Optional backups go to your own cloud accounts under your control.

Your Data, Your Control

You can export your data to formats like PDF, CSV, or Markdown and save backups to your own storage. These actions are fully controlled by you.

Payments

Naevor Plus subscriptions are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment details.
